Blitz (Alamo Comics)

Blitz (James Slaton) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero, who appears in the comic books published by Alamo Comics. Blitz is often referred to by the public as "The Bolt". Created by writer-producer Mac Davis and writer-editor John Marshall, he first appeared in ''Alamo Comic Adventures'' #1. Blitz is depicted by Davis and Marshall as a teenage boy living with his mother Angela Slaton and the late Ray Slaton in Gold Spring City. His abilities include increased strength and athleticism, keen senses and the ability to conduct electricity with his hands. He pits against one of his greatest enemies, Gold Spring City mobster and CEO of VosCo Sciences, Caesar (Giovanni Vosco).
Blitz is set to appear in his own short film releasing October 2014 under Remember the Alamo Productions.
==Fictional character biography==
In Gold Spring City, high school student James Slaton has everything going for him. He dates the most beautiful girl in his grade, Elena Harp, plays Varsity basketball and is the most "popular" student at Gold Spring City High School. After being dumped by his girlfriend one day, James is driving home when he is hit by a car and is poisoned by chemicals which leaked from a VosCo. Chemical company truck. Immediately he is rushed to the Gold Spring Medical Center where the doctors inform himself and Angela Martin that the chemicals have vastly increased James' vitals and his physical state. While recovering from the accident, James' best friend Bryan Houston soon finds out that multiple electronic devices that James touches lose battery power every time he makes contact with them. Bryan, being a comic book fan begins to imagine James as a superhero. Bryan speculates the possibilities of a superhero name for James and while they are watching a Gold Spring Wranglers football game on television, James calls the play "Blitz" which Bryan chooses as James' superhero alias. Bryan finds a metal staff to help conduct electricity and designs gauntlets that emit volts of electricity for James to have as a backup supply of energy. James adopts the Wranglers team colors Orange and Gold to design a suit for himself.
